5142 T-3. Discovered 1977 Oct. 16 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld at Palomar.
Named in honor of Erik Høg (1932- ), Danish astronomer at the Copenhagen Observatory. He is meridian circle astrometrist and designer of several instruments, including a micrometer for the Carlsberg Transit Circle. He
