Direct-Buried Cable

1. A communications cable, such as a coaxial cable, a fiber optic cable, or a paired cable, that is buried in direct contact with the earth, i.e., the soil, in contrast to an overhead cable or an underground cable. 2. An electric power cable that is buried in direct contact with
